Platt Memorial Hall

In 2016 the Platt War Memorial in St. Mary's Platt, Kent was relocated to a new Memorial Hall situated very close to the original site. To mark the opening of the new building the Heritage Lottery Fund funded the production of a short film to document the rebuild and tell the stories behind some of the names commemorated, and the history of the parish during both world wars. The film also records the work the Platt Memorial Hall has carried out with the local children to inform them about these two tumultuous periods of British history both nationally and locally.
