Royal Trinity Hospice: A Trinity story
Royal Trinity Hospice launched this video to showcase the range of support on offer and to help challenge some of the myths about hospices.
The 4 minute film, produced by Creative Connections, follows the story of one man with lung disease and how Trinity helps him and his family make the most of the time they have together.
Dallas Pounds, Chief Executive of Royal Trinity Hospice, said, “Hospice care has changed massively over the years but the common perception of what we do has not. For our 125th anniversary, we wanted to showcase the reality of how we help in clear and entertaining way.”
Royal Trinity Hospice is a local hospice based in Clapham, south London. Trinity provides skilled, compassionate care and support to people with progressive, life-limiting illnesses and those close to them. We support people at home and at the hospice.
All our services are provided free of charge to patients and their families. We receive a third of our funding from the NHS, but we rely on donations to raise the remaining £9 million every year that is needed for our services to continue.
Who can enter?
Anyone can nominate a film to be entered for a prize - whether you are the charity, the agency who created the film or simply a fan. Our team will then qualify each entry against our terms and conditions to ensure that the charity is registered within the UK.
