A story of hope

Molido represents the thousands of animals that arrive at the Soi Dog shelter each month in desperate need of medical treatment. This video aims to raise funds and be a voice for the voiceless, so that more animals like her can be helped.

Soi Dog Foundation provides medical treatment and spays and neuters tens of thousands of street dogs and cats each year. As of October 2018, they have spayed and neutered over 250,000 dogs and cats, preventing millions of unwanted street animals being born into short, misery-filled lives.

Every day, they pick up sick, injured, abused or abandoned dogs and cats and provide them with medical treatment and care. They also travel to local temples and areas where stray animals are being cared for, and provide vaccinations and medical treatment. They provide training in basic medical care and first-aid to those caring for stray animals and run an education programme in local schools, teaching the next generation about responsible pet ownership.

All of this is funded solely through donations, as there is no government funding. It is hoped that this video will shine a light on the suffering of Thailand’s street animals so that more dogs and cats can get the help they need and deserve.
