Learning and working together to improve patient care
Learning and working together to improve patient care .
We are a group of carers, patients, leaders, teachers, students and health care practitioners who have produced a film consisting of a collection of nine digital stories. The stories build on our own personal experiences and through a process of reflection have enabled us to understand our journeys to become interprofessional practitioners and teachers. The aim of the stories is to help others learn from our experiences and to be used as an educational and promotional resource to promote interprofessional education. The stories were developed during a three day workshop coordinated by Pip Hardy and Tony Sumner cofounders of the Patient Voices programme.
The project was funded and supported by UK Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional education (CAIPE). CAIPE is a charity funded by member fees and donations. CAIPE was established in 1987 to promote health and wellbeing and to improve the health and social care of the public by advancing interprofessional education .
The digital stories are accessible from the UK Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional education (CAIPE) website; to be used by all members for educational and promotional activities.
Donations to our website will allow CAIPE to commission further stories to promote the work of CAIPE.
