Snow-Camp Charity's #Switch180 Campaign


Giving young people positive opportunities can turn their lives around. Our #Switch180 campaign highlights that we must do more as a society to provide opportunities for our young people.

Our nationwide research has shown that:

71% of young people feel they need more support from society to enable them to achieve their potential.

76% of young people believe that there is a clear link between a lack of positive opportunities and an increased risk of young people falling into crime and antisocial behaviour.

With 3 out of 4 young people feeling like there are not the right opportunities for them to succeed, we know there is more vital work to be done. Our objective for the campaign was to raise awareness of Snow-Camp and of this important issue.

Positive opportunities can make all the difference to youth and the direction their lives take. Snow-Camp have been successfully changing the direction of young people’s lives since 2003. Through snowsports we engage young people, enabling them to gain qualifications, participate in work experience and find employment.
