The one and only Chesney Hawkes wowed the crowd on Saturday 23rd June 2018 at Taunton Racecourse. The small festival in aid of local Testicular Cancer charity It’s in the Bag is growing and was blessed with a beautiful sunny day. Local bands got toes tapping and people up dancing til late in the day. The festival is aimed to raise money, but mostly to raise awareness of the most common cancer in young men and encourage regular self-checking and early detection. We sold over £1,000 of our merchandise, which is aimed to be a reminder and also get men talking about their health. The video shows how the event is well received and also a platform for survivors to volunteer or just have a good time. For us it was fantastic to see so many survivors at the event and we hope that the steady growth of this event continues. This video was made for us by Joe Melarkey, who had testicular cancer and has recently set up his video company. We wanted to give him a good start and let him capture the essence of our event, and I think he has done just that.
