The Ultimate Goal of Syrians #WorldCupOfPeace

Rethink Rebuild Society is a Manchester-based charity that works towards improving the lives of refugees, asylum seekers, and immigrants, in particular but not exclusively Syrians in the UK, helping them become positively established within British society. We are a member of the We Exist alliance of Syrian civil society organisations and local and international NGOs that seek to shape international narratives on Syria and Syrians.

In June and July Russia hosted the 2018 Football World Cup. Since the 2014 World Cup, more than 300,000 Syrians have been killed and another 12 million forced to flee their homes. Russia has been directly involved in the commission of these crimes. For Syrians, the ultimate goals for Syria are freedom, justice and peace. We Exist alliance campaigned before the 2018 World Cup to make it a #WorldCupofPeace.
