Jewish Care is the largest provider of health and social care services for the Jewish community in the UK. Every week, they touch the lives of 10,000 older and vulnerable people, providing essential and often life-changing services to those who need it most.
In this film we are introduced to Tony Fisher. He is 89 years old and lives on his own in a small council flat in East London. Tony and his partner Amelia were best friends; they grew old together. Amelia meant everything to Tony, so when she fell ill and passed away, he suddenly found himself alone. With no family around, Tony was isolated. He didn’t think that anyone would want to talk to an old man like him. He didn’t have anyone... until Jewish Care stepped in.
