What it's like to be homeless at winter

Homelessness is an emergency all year round, but in winter and cold weather it can be lethal. Chocolate Films was commissioned to create St Mungo’s 2017 Christmas Campaign film, convincing people to donate and save lives. We created a square video, an optimal format for Facebook, and the charity saw maximum impact. 

'What it's like to be homeless in winter' tells the story of Jim. Jim was homeless on and off for 34 years. Thanks to St Mungo’s, he has turned his life around. Unfortunately, thousands of others won’t be so lucky. Donations make a vital difference to people sleeping rough in winter.
